Which sizing system we use
Wanan Luxury sells the brands' own stock, so a garment or a shoe carries the size the brand printed on the label. For most of our catalogue that means Italian sizing for clothing and Italian and European sizing for shoes, since the majority of our labels are Italian and French. A few brands use their own scale — 1, 2, 3 or S, M, L — and there the product page shows exactly what is on the label.
This matters if you are used to US sizes: an Italian 42 in womenswear is a US 8, not a US 42. The charts below do the conversion.
Size charts
- Women's clothing — converts between the standard letter sizes (XXXS to XXXL), Italian, US, UK and Australian, French and numerical sizing.
- Men's clothing — standard letter sizes, Italian sizing, UK chest size and UK/US waist size.
- Women's shoes — Italian and European, US, UK, French and Chinese sizing, in half sizes from 34 upwards.
- Men's shoes — Italian and European, US, UK, French and Japanese sizing, in half sizes from 39 upwards.
Choosing between two sizes
If you normally fall between two sizes, take the larger one for structured pieces — blazers, coats, tailored trousers — and the smaller one for knitwear and jersey, which give as you wear them. Shoes from Italian brands tend to be cut narrow, so if you have a wide foot, going half a size up is usually the safer choice.

What the product page tells you
Each product page lists only the sizes actually available for that item. Our stock is largely single-piece: when a size appears, it is the one garment we hold, and when it goes, it is gone. That is also why an exchange is not always possible — see below.

Are the sizes US or European?
They are the brand's own, which for most of our catalogue means Italian. Use the charts above to convert to your US size.
What if I order the wrong size?
You can return the item within 14 days of receiving it. Return shipping is deducted from the refund — see Return Policy.
Can I exchange for another size instead of returning?
An exchange is handled as a return followed by a new order. Because most items are single pieces, the size you want may no longer be there by then — so if it matters, order it before sending the first one back.
Where do I find the measurements of a specific item?

Do the charts show centimetres?
The charts convert between sizing systems rather than listing measurements. For the actual measurements of a specific piece, ask us and we will measure that item.
